(2023-24 SEASON)

4th-8th Grade Basketball

All students in grades 4-8 at SHS or in the Parish are welcome to join us for the basketball season. No experience required, only the desire to learn and have fun! Registration is online and registration deadlines are as follows:

 

Registration Information:

Early Registration= $100 September 22nd to October 15th

Regular Registration= $125 October 16th to November 5th

Teams are divided by grade and gender. Team rosters will be filled on a first come, first served basis and will limited to a maximum of 14 players per team. If fewer than 14 players are registered for a team by the registration deadline, SHS CYO may extend  registration to complete a roster.

In situations where more than 15 players are interested for a specific team, SHS CYO has the authority to authorize a second team (however this is not guaranteed). If a second team is authorized, teams in grades 4-5 will be divided equitability. In grades 6-8, teams will be divided into Varsity and Junior Varsity based on skill level.

High School Basketball

High School Basketball is a great way for kids to stay active and still enjoy the game outside of Bellevue, Lake Washington or Issaquah High School district basketball programs through the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA). Athletes participating on a high school basketball team (any level) are ineligible to play on a CYO Athletics basketball team.

 

Boys and girls from the parish in grades 9-12 are eligible to participate in High School Basketball.
